Getting started is the hardest part, isn’t it? In anything we do, getting started can be the most difficult hurdle.

Whether it’s as life altering as starting a new career, or as important as starting a new schedule or new hobby – starting is always the hardest part. However, once we get started, once we make that leap, the sky's the limit.

So, here I am starting a blog. The funny part is that I have been writing blog articles for many years prior to this. I’ve planned them, researched them, and dictated the subjects, word counts and schedules. I’ve written them, edited them and published them. The difference is, it was always for someone else. One would think it would be easy, then, to just start writing my own, about what I want instead of what my employer wants. I’ll tell you, it’s not that easy.

But, as I always say – if it were easy, everyone would do it.

Balance is hard, whether it's work-life balance, family-life balance, or, quite frankly, balancing on one leg during yoga. I'm The Yogi Mom, balancing parenthood, managing my house, managing my children, managing someone else's website content and now working through my 200 hour yoga teacher training. This is my journey as I try to balance it all. Welcome to theyogimom.com.
